Amazingly, a small handful of our classmates are STILL at their first jobs. In fact, compared to last year, it's almost the same rate, 14% vs. 13% last year. While only 13% are with the same employers, a larger 56% are still in their same occupations. So where did everyone go? Many left Management Consulting, High Tech, and Internet/New Media...benefiting Accounting/Finance and Non-profits, in general. A well-deserved "Honorable Mention" to Junko (Gold), Stephanie (Axe), Gina (Gold) and Whitney (Axe) for trading in their for diapers. After spending a few days at home with my kid, I found it less tiring to go to work! According to a recent WSJ article, stay-at-home moms should be paid $134,121 based on the "services" they provide at home. So, we salute you full-time moms! |
