What is this web site?
The Haas99 class web site is a place for all members of the full-time MBA class of 1999 at Haas to keep up to date on what everyone is doing.
Included in the site are those MBA's with "good intentions" who started the day time program with the class of 1999, but took a little longer to finish, as well as folks who started in the evening program but finally realized spending their nights in classrooms wasn't such a good idea and migrated to the day time program . The site content is updated once per year and email is sent to all class members before the publication to get updates, and then after to notify everyone of the update to the web site. We have also included hyperlinks to everyone's most recent email address, but this web site is NOT a database for storing everyone's personal contact information like addresses, phone numbers, etc. The Haas Alumni Connections database is still the best place for that information and you can link to that site from the Related Links page.
Why did this class web site start?
Back around the fall of 1999, we were thinking of ways to keep in touch with what all of our classmates were doing. We decided that we would try to put together a class newsletter where everyone could periodically check up and hear about the latest about everyone in the class. Since we didn't want to have to give up our day jobs to do this, we recruited some other classmates to help with the job. The updates of April 2000 are the first ones that cover the entire class.
Who has been involved? (e.g. who should I complain to if I don't like it?)
Edmund and Marc have taken the lead with the project, so send all complaints and suggestions to them. However, the immense task of tracking down all 240 (or at least most of the 240) classmates couldn't have been done without help from eachof the cohort reps.
